The Best Week Ever FAQs

What is The Best Week Ever?

A week of fun and adventure for kids ages 5-12 years old. This year kids and leaders will have the best week ever as we have tons of fun and learn about the Big God Story! We’ll have games, music, inflatables, and so much more!

Dates: July 10-14
Time: 9am – 12noon
Ages: Kids ages 5-12 years old

Why is it de-centralized and not taking place at one of the ROCKHARBOR Campuses?

ROCKHARBOR used to have our summer VBS in one centralized location and we saw roughly 600-700 kids coming, most of which already know Jesus. However, we felt God calling our church to step outside of our walls and dive deeper into our communities. In the 4 years we have been de-centralized, we have seen that number of kids rise with a large majority coming from families in the communities. God is doing amazing things and is connecting our church with neighborhoods and schools in a way we couldn’t have imagined.

What should my child bring each day?

On the first day of The Best Week Ever, you’ll want to bring a completed release form for your family, which you can download by clicking here.  Otherwise, make sure your child has a small snack and a water bottle with their name on both to keep their energy up throughout the morning.

Is this format safe for my child?

Absolutely. ROCKHARBOR Staff oversees site leaders and volunteers. Each site leader and each volunteer submits to a background check before being allowed to sign up for a team.
